Photonics Workshop

This Fundamentals of Photonics Workshop is intended for educators who teach grades 7-12 and post-secondary and will provide participants with basic photonics theory and concepts supported by hands-on laboratory activities, and an overview of the photonics industry and photonics related careers. Participants will perform laboratory experiments and learn about the characteristics of light and lasers. Each participant will receive a “Light & Optics Experiment Kit” (valued at $100). This institute is sponsored by the Micro Nano Technology Education Center (NSF DUE #2000281).
